Beef and Onion Stir-fry (Phase 2)

In the mood for Chinese takeout but you're on the HCG Diet? This easy 4-ingredient recipe makes a tasty, yet HCG Diet compliant, beef and onion stir-fry (Phase 2) dish.
- 100 grams thin-sliced beef sirloin (Some other lean cut may be used.)
- 1 medium sliced onion
- 2 tbsp Bragg Liquid Aminos*
- 1/4 tsp minced fresh ginger

Purchase thin-sliced beef sirloin or slice it yourself, about 1/8 inch thick, set aside.

Heat a non-stick cooking pan to medium heat.

Depending on your pan, you may choose to use cooking spray but spray very quickly.(Cooking sprays list 0 calories but they actually have about 2 calories in aserving… which is only ¼ of a second!)

Add ginger to the skillet and stir fry for 1-2 minutes.

Add onion slices and stir fry another 3-4 minutes until browned and soft.

Add the thin-sliced beef into the pan and stir fry for about 1 minute.

Turn the heat down to low, then pour Bragg Liquid Aminos over the beef and onionsand simmer for 4-5 minutes. Dinner is served!
*We have found that Braggs Liquid Aminos are okay to use while on the VLCD phase of the HCG Diet Protocol. Calories, carbs, and sugar all have a value of zero. When using Bragg Liquid Aminos, mark it down in your diet journal to track your progress. If it has a negative effect on your weight loss, discontinue using.
